The Catalyst Society aims to unite the different branches of Chemistry and provide a community for graduate and post-graduate researchers to encourage innovation. The society name derives from the principle of catalysis, in which catalysts provide lower energy pathways for reactions to occur, making new reactions possible and existing reactions faster.

In research labs, often more junior research members can act as catalysts for positive change. By giving junior researchers an organised network of peers, we aim to create new pathways for entrepreneurial, research, and industrial collaboration. So please make sure you follow us on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and keep an eye out for our upcoming events!
